Candace Williams is a seasoned professional educator with 16 years of experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

 

Over the course of her career, she served as a teacher, reading interventionist, and Instructional Coach for K-8 Literacy in Fort Smith Public Schools, Houston Independent School District, and KIPP Houston. For the past six years, she has served as an educational consultant and e-Learning Implementation Specialist, impacting the Houston-Metro area and the southern region of the United States. She has also collaborated with various education companies, contributing to numerous curriculum projects in literacy, social-emotional learning, STEM, and culinary arts.

 

​Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student brings a unique background and set of experiences that significantly impact their learning journey. She understands how crucial it is to meet students where they are, acknowledging their strengths and challenges alike. For Candace, building secure bonds with students is essential in cultivating a classroom where safety, collaboration, and mutual respect flourish. She firmly believes that all children can learn and thrive in an environment that values diversity, equity, and the whole child! 

 

She established TRIBE EDUCATION GROUP, LLC to emphasize the importance of creating a community of support, collaboration, and growth, not only for students, but also for fellow educators. Ultimately, her goal as an educator is to nurture lifelong learners who are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed socially, emotionally, and academically now and in the future.​​​
